Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified or Cashier's Check in the amount not less than 10% of the amount bid, but not exceeding $20,000. All bid guarantees shall be accompanied by an executed consent from an approved surety company, licensed to conduct business in the State of New Jersey, agreeing to furnish the required Performance and Maintenance Bond upon the award of contract. All bidders and the general public are invited to be present for this bid opening. All bids must be submitted on the prescribed bid forms. Drawings, Specifications, and Contract Documents, prepared by Alaimo Group, Township Engineer, for the proposed work may be inspected at the Office of the Municipal Clerk, Town Hall, 111 West Second Street, Moorestown, New Jersey 08057-2480 (Telephone No. 856-235-0912, Ext. 3015) during normal business hours. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 (Affirmative Action Law); N.J.S.A. 52:32-44 et seq. (Business Registration Act); and N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.48 et seq. (Public Works Contractor Registration Act). This contract is subject to the provisions of the New Jersey Local Public Contracts Law, N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1, et. seq.
