Renovation of an educational facility in Louisville, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
On behalf of the University of Louisville Physical Plant Services, the Department of Procurement Services requests bids from qualified, financially sound and responsible contractors for the purpose of completion of the following upgrade services at the University of Louisville JB Speed College of Engineering on the University Belknap Campus. Provision and installation of a Commercial Passenger Elevator, all the necessary equipment required to fully complete the installation, and coordination between any other associated work required by other trades. The equipment specifications are based on the REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS and product design to provide passenger elevator in compliance with : ASME A17.1 - Safety Code for Elevators and Escalators, ASME A17.5 - Elevator and Escalator Electrical Equipment, Requirements of Americans with Disabilities Act. If any person contemplating the submission of a bid has any doubt as to the true meaning, of any part of the invitation,he/she should contact Jim Warden (502) 852-6248. Any interpretation of the specifications will be made by addenda and posted online. Vendors requesting clarifications to this Invitation to Bid may submit in writing questions for official response by the University. Questions should be sent via email to Jim Warden at jlward02@louisville.edu no later than June 10, 2019 at 11:00 AM EST.
