Emergency repair work to stabilize a recent rip-rap stabilization project which was completed in 2019. The stream has downcut along the existing rep-rap and undermined the toe. There has also been a loss of fines/gravel behind a small portion of the rip-rap. The enclosed scope of work, which was prepared by the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), details an 8' toe stabilization treatment which will protect the toe of rip-rap and provide additional stabilization/armoring of the existing project. This project is broken down into 2 specific areas: A. Priority Area #1 This section is approximately 300' in length. R8 rip-rap is required for this repair. All disturbed "yard" areas shall be redressed with topsoil and reseeded & mulched. No rocks shall be present on the surface. See note on Repair Planview for more information. B. Priority Area #2 This section is approximately 350' in length. R8 rip-rap is required for this repair. All disturbed "yard" areas shall be redressed with topsoil and reseeded & mulched.
