The City of San Mateo is soliciting proposals from qualified professional firms to provide engineering and landscape architecture design services, including developing plans, specifications, and cost estimate, for construction of landscape improvements at the El Camino Real (State highway 82) and State highway 92 interchange. This Request for Proposals (RFP) seeks to secure the most qualified proposer to perform professional engineering and landscape architecture design services as needed to develop construction contract documents meeting Caltrans standards for landscaping improvements, including preparation of grant applications and exhibits, environmental clearance validation, obtaining permits, public outreach support, bidding support and engineering services during construction. Proposals shall be submitted by firms that have a capable and demonstrable background in the type of work described in Section III of this notice. In addition, all interested firms shall have sufficient, readily available resources in the form of trained personnel, support services, specialized consultants and financial resources to carry out the work without delay or shortcomings.
