Renovation of a mixed-use development in Raleigh, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 6,800-square-foot library.
The project scope includes the renovation of approximately 6,800 square feet of library, circulation and office space on the first floor of Jordan Hall. The renovation will create collaboration space for students and faculty in the College of Natural Resources and the College of Sciences as well as a grab-n-go coffee and light food service location for the Central Campus precinct. The project will require architectural work, including casework, new flooring, fixtures and finishes and some new walls; electrical work, including lighting, power and data and fire alarm; plumbing work related to the new food service location, and sprinkler work; and mechanical work. Though the library will be closed for the renovation, the building will remain open and active. Contractors and anyone working on the site will be required to follow NC State COVID-19 prevention guidelines. Addendum #1-#3 have been issued. Solicitation no-19244,QF-0001
