The Des Moines Metropolitan Wastewater Reclamation Authority (Jurisdiction) reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Work on each improvement shall be commenced upon approval of the contract by the WRA Board, and completed as stated below. Each bidder shall accompany its bid with bid security as defined in Section 26.8 of the Iowa Code and as specified by the Jurisdiction. By virtue of statutory authority, preference will be given to products and provisions grown and coal produced within the State of Iowa, and to Iowa domestic labor, to the extent lawfully required under Iowa statutes. The bidder should not include sales tax in the bid. A sales tax exemption certificate will be available for all material purchased for incorporation in the project. The improvement inlcudes removal and replacement of the roofs on Buildings 75 and 91, and other incidental items; all in accordance with the contract documents, including Plan File Nos. 611-251/258, located at the Wastewater Reclamation Facility, 3000 Vandalia Road, Des Moines, Iowa.
