**As of October 19 ,2022, project was awarded to Riverside Construction Company, Inc, awarded amount is $25,848,403.85.** DESCRIPTION OF WORK The work generally consists of installing a bridge structure, MSE walls, a roadway, and utilities. The structure will be a three span, cast-in-place prestressed (CIP/PS) concrete box girder bridge. The structure will be 328'-0" long and 82'-0" wide. Parallel MSE walls will retain the approach at the east abutment. There are no existing structures at the proposed location. Utility improvements will include 820 LF of 12" water line within new roadway and 1330 LF of 18" water line within and adjacent to the proposed structure. Roadway improvements will include a 2685 LF realignment of Holland Rd with associated landscape, lighting, and utility improvements, and a 400 LF road terminating in a cul-de-sac. This is a 302-working day contract. Estimated construction cost: $24,500,000 The City of Menifee has previously issued a Final Bidders List for this project. This list was determined by the City's review of Responsibility Statement and Questionnaires submitted by interested contractors. The City will only open bids submitted by contractors who were approved by the City to be on the Final Bidders List for the above referenced project. Bids submitted by contractors who are not approved to be on the Final Bidders List will not be opened. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for performance and payment bonds acceptable to the Agency. Liquidated damages are required by law and will apply to the Project in accordance with the Special Provisions The Agency reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularity(ies), and to take all bids under advisement for a period of sixty (90) calendar days after the date the bids are publicly opened.
