As of 7/16/2019 All bids were rejected and its for re-bid but no new date specified. This project includes: Window replacement. Make proposals on the bid forms supplied in the Project Manual. No oral, telegraphic or telephonic proposals or modifications will be considered. Submit with each bid, a certified check or acceptable bidder's bond payable to [O NAME] in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Performance Bond. The successful bidder is required to pay the general prevailing wage for work as ascertained by the Illinois Department of Labor, and shall submit certified payroll records, in compliance with the Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130) and shall comply with all applicable Illinois statutory requirements regarding labor, including Equal Employment Opportunity laws. There is no cost to download the drawings, however, prospective bidders must provide all requested information when completing the download process in order that they will receive proper updates. Prospective bidder may choose to purchase hard copies of the Bidding Documents from American Reprographics Company at their own expense. A. Work under this Contract includes: 1. Building Enclosure a. Remove existing windows and install new aluminum windows and glazing. 2. Interior Finishes a. Patch existing gypsum boards walls and paint. b. Install new solid surface window stools and aprons. 3. Keep Architect fully informed about progress of the work, performance of the work and potential problems. Bids may not be withdrawn within thirty (30) days after the scheduled time of opening bids, without the consent of the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to accept any bid or to reject any or all bids, or parts of such bids, and waive informalities or irregularities in bidding. The Owner requires Substantial Completion of the project on or before September 2019.
