Site work and paving for a road / highway in Northampton, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Allen Township is soliciting sealed bids for 2019 base repair, paving and Ultra-Thin Bonded Wearing Course for portions of Willowbrook Road (T478) and Savage Road (T-463). The bids shall include the Contractor supplying all material, labor, tools, equipment and manpower pursuant to the Description of Work contained within the Allen Township Bid Form/Specifications. All work and material are to be provided in accordance with the latest Pennsylvania Department of Transportation requirements Publication 408, Publication 447 and Work Zone Traffic Control Publication 213. No Bidder may withdraw his Bid Proposal within sixty (60) days after the date of Bid Opening. Bidders are required to provide, as bid guarantee, a certified check or bid bond, in the amount of ten percent (10) of the total proposal, made payable to "Allen Township". The successful bidder shall be required to supply Performance and Payment Bonds as required by law. Quantities stated in Bid Documents are not guaranteed. Actual quantities may be more or less. However, payment will be based on the actual quantities of the work performed. Prevailing wages have been incorporated into the bid documents due to the project estimates. The Board of Supervisors reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, and to accept any bid, which, in its judgment, is for the best interests of the Township.
