Preservation of Building Envelope: The scope of work of this component of the project generally consists of the provision of all plant, labor, material and equipment to perform historic building envelope stabilization to prevent water entry into building not limited to re-piping bottom of window wells and basement drains, new lined gutters and copper downspouts, restoration of wood square & round column bases, replacement of damaged and rotted wood decking throughout and installation of various new roofing systems not limited to tin-zinc flat seam roofing at porches, copper flashing, membrane roofing, installation of new and salvaged slate roofing, disassembly and rebuild of chimneys, replace in-kind wood soffit elements, lifting and resetting marble units, restoration & reinstallation of wood shutters, new wood porch balusters, and disassembly and rebuilding of areas of brick masonry & waterproofing. Limited Sitework: The scope of work of this component of the project generally consists of the provision of all plant, labor, material and equipment to perform selective installation of perimeter drain tile, stormwater piping to catch roof water to drain to rip-rap outlet per Contract Documents.
