Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Boise, Idaho. Completed plans call for the construction of a office development; for site work for a office development; laboratory facility; and laboratory facility.

The Department of Agriculture needs a new building with laboratory and office space to replace their existing animal, dairy and pathology laboratory spaces that currently reside on the second floor of the Health and Welfare Building located off Old Penitentiary Road in Boise, Idaho. The new building will be approximately 20,000s.f ;12,000s.f. of laboratory space; and 8,000s.f. of office, accessory, and circulation space. The six departments that will be included in the laboratory space are listed below: Animal Health Laboratory Brucellosis Laboratory Dairy Laboratory Plant Pathology Laboratory Necropsy Laboratory Core Laboratory As part of the project a code study for the entire new building and site will need to be performed. In addition to all codes adopted by the State of Idaho the new building will need to meet all standards necessary for federal accreditation for the work being performed in the laboratory spaces.
