The Mercer County Board of Education invites bids to provide all work, including but not limited to labor, material, equipment, supplies, installation and transportation for inspection and service of all fire extinguishers and fire and life safety devices in all buildings and buses. The Period of the Contract shall be from July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2020. This contract may be renewed at the expiration of its term by agreement of both parties. Such renewal may be for an additional year not to exceed two such renewals, (three years total). The Board assumes no responsibility for oral instruction or suggestion from employees or representatives. All official correspondence in regard to the specifications should be directed to and will be issued by the Procurement Specialist. Contractors are encouraged to be at the bid opening if they desire the results of this bid; otherwise no information will be given out until a contract is approved by the Board of Education. To the extent allowed by West Virginia Code, the Board reserves the right to waive any informality or irregularity in any Bid and to reject any or all Bids in whole or in part; to reject a Bid not accompanied by the required condition of the Bid by the Bidder that is in any way inconsistent with the requirements, terms and conditions of the Bidding Documents; or to reject a Bid that is in any way incomplete or irregular.
