Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Madera, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 9,336-square-foot municipal facility; for site work for a municipal facility; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The project shall consist of the modernization of an existing 9,336 S.F. facility which will be converted into the new Agricultural Commissioners Office and UC Extension facility. The tenant improvement project consists of interior wall framing and finishes, IT infrastructure upgrade, HVAC equipment upgrade, lighting upgrade, room identification signage, doors, casework, and modifications of existing restrooms to comply with current accessibility standards, per the California Building Code. The project will, also, include modifications to the existing CMU monument sign, parking lot seal coat and restriping, and the installation of an off site CMU monument sign at the Juvenile Detention / Probation Office. August 5, 2019 Construction Start Date: Approx. August 7, 2019 Liquidated Damages: $1,500 per day for project delays that are determined to be attributable to the Contractor. Contractor Qualifications to bid. a) Contractor shall possess a Class B license at the time the Contract is awarded. Basis of Award: The lowest bid shall be determined on the basis of the base bid. Wage Rates: Prevailing Wage. DIR Registration: Contractor and subcontractors must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code Sect. 1725.5.
