Reference Number 0000423001 Construction of a New Fire Station for the County of Madera. Work Includes (but is Not Limited to): On Site Improvements, New Fire Station Building, Mechanical, Plumbing, Fire Protection & Alarm, Vehicle Exhaust, Emergency Generator, Communications, and Electrical Systems, Off Site Improvements as Part of Contract Includes, but is Not Limited to: New Curb Cuts, New Sewer Lateral to Edge of Gutter, New Gas Connections and New Electrical Conduit Stubbed to Edge of Gutter. Question Deadline 05/29/2026 at 5:00 PM PT All contractual and technical questions should be directed to the, Project Manager, Jorge Mendoza at jorge.mendoza@maderacounty.com and Ricky Arredondo at ricky.arredondo@maderacounty.com. Questions shall be submitted on the REQUEST FOR CLARIFICATION form provided in the Contract Documents. The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any bids or in the bidding. No bidder may withdraw his/her bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening thereof.PROJECT LOCATION: Intersection of Avenue 12 and Road 40 (3654'43.1"N 11949'17.8"W). Approx 3/4 miles on Road 40 off Avenue 12. Project is located near the Riverstone Housing Development. The Contractor shall possess a valid California Class B license at the time this Project is bid. Each bidder shall be a licensed contractor pursuant to the Business and Professions Code and shall be licensed in the appropriate classification(s) of contractor's license(s), for the work bid upon, and must maintain the license throughout the duration of the Contract. The successful CONTRACTOR (after receiving the Notice to Proceed) shall have fourteen (14) calendar months to complete all work called for under the Contract Documents. The liquidated damages will be $2,000.00 per day for the project delays that are determined to be attributable to the CONTRACTOR. The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any bids or in the bidding. No bidder may withdraw his/her bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening thereof.
