Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Newtown, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

This project involves construction of a walking trail, tennis courts, pickleball courts, parking area expansion, and storm water management improvements. All work can be completed at the Contractor's discretion provided work is substantially completed by November 1, 2021. Bidders are required to comply with the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act of 1961, P.L. 987, No. 442, where the project cost is twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) or above. Only the Successful Bidder for a contract will be responsible for payment of a fee to Penn Bid and for bearing the cost thereof. The amount of the fee due to Penn Bid is either 1/3% (0.0033) of the initial contract award amount for fixed fee contracts or 1/6% (0.00166) of the expected contract value for term contracts and will be invoiced by Penn Bid to the successful bidder upon award of a contract by the Local Contracting Unit. The minimum fee is set at $100.00 and the maximum fee is capped at $5,000.00. The Township of Lower Make field reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bidding when, in the opinion of the Township, such rejections or waivers shall be to its interest or advantage Requests for clarification are due Wednesday, May 19, 2021 11:00:00 AM [(UTC-05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada)]. This work is the assembly and set-up of the general plant required to comply with the contract and with local and State laws and regulations. General plant includes Contractor's offices, shops, plants, storage areas, and sanitary or other facilities. This work includes obtaining the required permits, insurance, bonds, and any other initial items required for the start of the work. The "Memorial Park Expansion - Phase 2" (project) consists of improvements to the Memorial Park located in the Township of Lower Make field, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. In general, the work includes construction of a walking trail, tennis courts, pickleball courts, parking area expansion, and landscaping/storm water management improvements. The work is more fully described by the project plans and the specifications herein.
