The Waste Heat Isolation and Flow Control Valve Replacement project contemplated consists of the removal and replacement of waste heat isolation and control valve equipment and associated components in the Jones Island Dewatering and Drying Facility (Building No. 258) including: o Removal of 12 existing waste heat isolation dampers (9 guillotines and 3 tandem butterflies), seal air blowers, seal air isolation valves, and seal air ductwork o Removal of 12 existing waste heat flow control dampers o Removal of existing electrical conductors, conduit, and local control panels o Installation of 12 new waste heat isolation dampers, seal air blowers, seal air isolation valves, seal air ductwork, and backdraft dampers o Installation of 12 new waste heat flow control dampers o Modification of mechanical systems and waste heat ductwork associated with the isolation and flow control damper replacements o Modification of existing power distribution panels o Installation of new conduit and conductors to new equipment o Installation of new instrumentation and control equipment o Painting of mechanical and electrical equipment Small Business Enterprise, and/or Veteran Business Enterprise, and/or Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise Involvement Goal amount. - Five percent (5%) of contract or contract as modified Women Business Enterprise Involvement Goal amount. - Two percent (2%) of contractor contract as modified Minority Business Enterprise Involvement Goal amount. - Thirteen percent (13%) of contract or contract as modified.
