A timeline for the award is not yet established.** Questions must be submitted on or before 7/09/2019 12:00 PM This contract includes the cleaning and televising of sewer main, installation of pre-liner if directed by the Engineer, lining of sanitary sewer pipe with CIPP liner, spot repairs of sanitary sewer pipe, bypass pumping, lateral reinstatement, lateral joint grouting, traffic control and restoration of all disturbed areas. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Borough of Jenkintown in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid or bids. Only bonds from companies licensed, to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will be accepted and the bond shall so state same. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates. The Project requires all prime contractors and subcontractors to pay all laborers and mechanics employed on the Project wages at rates not less than tan the prevailing rates on the Wage Rate Determination provided in the bid documents. All bidders submitting a bid greater than or equal to $100,000 are required to establish proof of competency and responsibility, in accordance with Jenkintown Borough Ordinance No. 2008-2, "An Ordinance of the Borough of Jenkintown Adopting a Model Responsible Contractor Ordinance". Bids must be submitted unconditionally. No bidder may withdraw a bid within SIXTY (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. The Borough reserves the right to waive any informality, or to reject any or all bids, or take such action as it may deem in the best interest of the Borough and as may be permitted by law.
