The intention of this Competitive Sealed Proposal (CSP) is to solicit proposals for replace and/or renovations of HVAC/MEP equipment at the following schools; Bains Middle School Burton Elementary School Elkins High School Ferndell Henry Center for Learning Goodman Elementary School Heritage Rose Elementary School Hightower High School Hopson Field House Parks Elementary School Ridge Point High School Scanlan Oaks Elementary School Schiff Elementary School Sienna Crossing Elementary School Sullivan Elementary School The estimated construction cost of work for this project is, five million, eight hundred thirty-two thousand, eight hundred and seventy dollars ($5,832,870.00). Please be reminded that all FBISD campuses and departments are tobacco, drug and weapon free facilities.Contractors are responsible for the conduct of their employees and adherence to FBISD building policies. FBISD is seeking a contractor to provide a solution for the repairs or renovations to, and replacement of mechanical and plumbing systems at various school campuses throughout the Ft. Bend Independent School District. The scope of work for PKG042 includes but is not limited to surge protection replacement, pump replacement, cooler tower and cooling tower media replacement, ,refrigerant monitoring system replacement, piping insulation replacement, water treatment tank repair, secondary switch gear replacement, air handling unit piping replacement, electric duct heater replacement, main plumbing lateral replacement, chiller replacement, dust collection system repair and exhaust fan replacement, new emergency generator, security alarm systems, DocuSign Envelope ID: F6348E4D-CFF1-4AD7-B651-6932CAD5BCA5 4 plumbing fixture replacement, emergency lighting, irrigation system isolation valves, additional electrical outlets, and exterior lighting replacement, The successful contractor will collaborate with the district in developing an appropriate construction schedule that considers the need for coordination with other ongoing construction projects at some of the same campuses included in this PKG042. Should it be deemed advantageous to the district to complete some or all of the project tasks prior to July 31, 2021, the district will consider approval of such scheduling. Contractor must provide customer references letter in order to receive points in the evaluation criteria section. Contractor must provide proof of pertinent experience (pervious educational experience) along with documentation of successful completion of projects completed within the last 3 to 5 years with minimum expense for construction of new elementary school including addendums as attached at approximately five million dollars.
