Renovation of a military facility in Washington, District of Columbia. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a military facility.

The project is located at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB), Washington DC. The intent of this project is to replace tile on all floors, lobby and hall areas in JBAB-5681. The accomplishment of this project will provide an area for work to be conducted without the inference of weather. Demo approximately 3,700 SF of carpet, 2,500 SF of tile, and 2,122 LF of cove base on floors 1-4; replace with 7,705 SF of new Honed Slate tile and 2,122 LF of new rubber/vinyl cove base at JBAB-5681. Work to be accomplished in accordance with the following work requirements and floor plans attached at the end of this SOW. Work site shall be left in an acceptably clean manner. Contractor shall demo existing tile and install new 12'X12' Honed Slate Tile in in the following areas in accordance with the floor plans/drawings attached at the end of this SOW: 1st Floor Vestibule, Lobby, Hallway, Stairwells & RM 155 - 3,483 ft2 2nd Floor Vestibule, Lobby, Hallway, and Stairwells - 1,841 ft2 3rd Floor Lobby, Hallway, and Stairwells - 924 ft2 4th Floor Lobby, Hallway, and Stairwells - 1,457 ft2 Replace approximately 2,122 L.F. of rubber/vinyl Cove Base. Cove base to match existing base color. It is requested that interested small businesses submit to the contracting office a brief capabilities statement package (no more than 5 pages in length, singled-spaced, 12-point font minimum) demonstrating ability to perform the requested services. This documentation shall address, as a minimum, the following: (1) Relevant Experience of the Prime Contractor, for only three (3) completed projects, to include experience in performing efforts of similar size and scope that involved repair of general construction projects within the last three (3) years, including contract number, indication of whether a prime or subcontractor, contract value, square footage, Government/Agency point of contact and current telephone number, and a brief description of how the contract referenced relates to the technical services described herein. (2) Company profile to include number of employees, office location(s), DUNS number, Cage Code, Vets Form 4212 and statement regarding small business designation and status. (3) Statement regarding Bonding Capabilities. Provide single project and aggregate capabilities.
