Site work, paving and renovation of a bridge / tunnel in Abingdon, Virginia. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The Town of Abingdon is requesting PROPOSALS for professional services from qualified firms to preform structural engineering studies on six (6) bridges along the Virginia Creeper Trial. Inter-ested qualified firms should contact Derick Lester at the phone number or email address listed below to receive the full Request for Proposal. The selection process will follow the requirements of Virginia Code Section 2.2-4300, the Virginia Public Procurement Act. All respondents must conform to the Federal Equal Employment Oppor-tunity requirements and upon request, supply documentation of compliance.
