Completed plans call for the addition of a clubhouse / community center; for the demolition of a clubhouse / community center; for site work for a service station / car wash facility; and for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center.

Background Harney County is requesting proposals from qualified construction management/general contractor (CM/GC) to work with Harney County Senior and Community Services Center to construct an approximate 1,800 square-foot two bay bus barn and one bay wash station. The extension will be constructed on property located next to 115 Rail Road Ave, the existing bus barn in Burns OR. The project is funded by various grant funds, some of which are federal transportation dollars. This project is a prevailing wage/Davis Bacon project. It is the intent of Harney County to open up this request for proposals (RFP) for the expansion of the existing bus barn and wash station to any firm that meets the qualifications outlined in the minimum qualifications section of this RFP. Services that have been omitted from this RFP, which are clearly necessary for the completion of all work, shall be considered a requirement although not directly specified or called for in the proposal. This CM/GC project includes but is not limited to, the construction of a new addition to the existing Bus Barn including a single bay washing station.
