As of June 20, 2025, the Florence Avenue Bus Priority Lanes Project by the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) is in the final design review phase, with construction expected to begin in late 2025. The project will implement bus-only lanes along a 5.4-mile stretch of Florence Avenue, from West Boulevard to the Florence A Line Station, to improve service reliability and travel times for Metro Line 111. An Engineer or Project cost has not been publicly announced.
