Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-25, "Prequalification of Bidders," the Township of Green Brook is seeking qualifications from prospective contractors specializing in preservation and restoration construction work. The project includes preparation of drawings and specifications to execute the scope of work, which includes selective removal of deteriorated plaster, excavation at the west elevation to place footings for a new ADA-compliant/barrier-free ramp plus rough framing and new masonry piers, shoring and supports, adding topsoil, final grading and re-seeding. Interior work includes finished carpentry at the second floor, to include repairs and in-kind replacement of trim, moldings, baseboards, interior windows and door surrounds and related hardware, plaster repairs and interior painting of plaster surfaces and interior wood trim at second floor. This project has received grant funding from the Somerset County Historic Preservation Program.
