For 2019 Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation Project The Project consists of the installation of a Cured-In-Place liner into approximately 17,238 linear feet of sanitary sewer varying from 8-inch to 21-inch diameter pipe; open cut replacement of approximately 195 linear feet of sanitary sewer varying from 8-inch to 18-inch diameter pipe from access point to access point; 26 external point repairs of sanitary sewer ranging from 8-inch to 18-inch diameter pipe; 8 external point repairs of sanitary sewer at service connections ranging from 8-inch to 21-inch diameter pipe; 16 internal Cured-In-Place point repairs of sanitary sewer on 8-inch diameter pipe; approximately 129 Cured-In-Place service lateral repairs; 38 open cut replacement service laterals repairs; approximately 1,160 vertical feet of manhole lining with a polymer or epoxy based liner; 2 raising to grade of existing manholes; 1 manhole frame and cover replacement; 2 installation of watertight frame and covers on existing manholes; 1 manhole requiring bench and invert repair; 1 manhole requiring new invert and bench installation; 3 plugging abandoned manhole line connections; 7 prep and relining of manhole line connection on previously lined manhole; and installation of 9 new precast concrete sewer manholes. The scope of the project will include all bypass pumping, pipe preparation, pre-lining, and any necessary tools or equipment required to complete the jobs according to the specifications. The allotted time for construction is 280 calendar days. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis. Checks for Bidding Documents shall be payable to S&ME, Inc. Upon request and receipt of the document charge indicated above plus a non-refundable shipping charge, the Issuing Office will transmit the Bidding Documents via delivery service. Shipments shall be two-day delivery. Express shipments will be at the purchasers expense. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidders date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders shall submit proof of qualifications to perform the Work as described in the Instructions to Bidders. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and to re-advertise.
