Site work for a road / highway in Avon, Indiana. Working plans call for site work for a road / highway.

Bids came out higher than the actual estimate. The work shall consist of the placement of new painted, preformed plastic, thermoplastic, and raised pavement markings as indicated on the project schedule, as well as all other work necessary for and included in the Construction Schedule and Specifications for the 2019 Pavement Marking project. The Proposal must be made on the forms provided in the Contract Documents. Each Proposal shall be accompanied by a cashiers or certified check, drawn on an acceptable bank, or an acceptable Submitter bond, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the Proposal, payable to the Town of Avon, Indiana. The Bidder to whom a contract for work is awarded will be required to furnish a Performance, Maintenance, and Payment Bond executed on the specified forms and acceptable to the Town, in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract. The Bidder (proposer) must supply all the information required by the Proposal forms. Liquidated damages for delay will be as provided in the Proposal Contract Documents. Work hours will be as described in the Submittal and Field Quality Control Special Provision. The Contractor and all subcontractors will be required to comply with required Federal and State labor regulations including Equal Employment Opportunity, EVerify, Non-segregated Facilities, and Affirmative Action requirements. The Town of Avon, Indiana, reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or parts there-of and to waive all responsibility for irregularities in Proposals. Proposals may be held by the Town of Avon, Indiana, for a period of not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the opening of the Proposals for the purpose of reviewing the Proposals and the investigation of the qualifications of bidders, prior to awarding of the Contract.
