As of June 10, 2021. the project has not yet awarded, no time frame provided at this time. he general nature of the Work is as follows: Work generally consists of marking removal, and demolition of the existing West Infield Apron, construction of the West Infield Taxilanes, airfield lighting modifications, excavation, subbase course, base course, bituminous pavement, applying pavement markings on the airfield, drainage improvements, water utility modifications, sanitary sewer utility modifications, electrical utility modifications, installation of a prefabricated structure, topsoiling, seeding and other miscellaneous items. Each bid must be accompanied by a cashier's check or surety bid bond, in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid for all bid schedules (including sales tax). A performance bond, payment bond, and liability insurance in accordance with the contract documents will be required for the Contract. This is a prevailing wage project per applicable State Law. The Spokane Airport Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality, to accept any alternate bids, and to make such award that it deems to be in the best interest of the Airport pursuant to the terms of the Instruction to Bidders and General Conditions. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. All bidders are cautioned to be aware of the requirement to have their bids considered responsive.
