The work to be done, in general consists of procuring and installing four (4), 15,000-gallon polyethylene aboveground storage tanks, construction of new tank pad, and procurement and installation of a new backup leachate transfer pump. The landfill is located within a 244-acre site at 14741 Wolf Mountain Road, approximately six miles southwest of Grass Valley, in Sections 5, 8 and 9 of Township 15 North, Range 8 East, based on the Mount Diablo geodetic datum. The attached Plans for 2019 McCourtney Road Landfill Leachate Management Improvements depicts the site location and the layout of the facility. Provide a site-specific safety plan. Mobilize to the site. Subgrade preparation for a new tank pad, including removal and onsite stockpiling of approximately 110 cubic yards of gravel and underlying native soil; sawcut and offsite disposal of approximately 1 cubic yard of existing asphalt concrete pavement; and scarification, grading and compaction of tank pad subgrade. Construction of a new concrete slab-on-grade and asphalt concrete apron to match the existing concrete pad and apron. Procurement and installation of 4 new 15,000-gallon polyethylene aboveground storage tanks and associated gravity flow piping, fittings, valves, pipe supports, connectors, flexible connectors, tie downs and tank level instrumentation. Procurement and installation of a new backup leachate transfer pump in an existing tank vault, including valves, fittings, piping, connectors, pipe supports and electrical power/control wiring to an existing power supply/control box. Demobilize from the site. Complete work within 120 working days.
