Carefully remove existing vented ridge cap, safely store for reinstallation; remove all edge metal around full perimeter of building; remove existing step flashing; remove existing apron flashings, salvage for reinstallation. Contractor haul off debris and remove from site; reinstall new asphalt composition shingle roofing system and self-adhered membrane flashing per specifications; all gutters to remain in place unless otherwise noted; remove and reinstall existing leaf guards as required; clean all gutters and downspouts after installation of composition roof system; where identified on the demolition plan and details, carefully remove and reinstall, or otherwise protect in place sheet metal flashing and trim not required to be replaced.
