HRSD reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, waive any informalities, or negotiate with the low bidder as described in the Instructions to Bidders. Contractor registration in accordance with Title 2.2, Chapter 43 and Title 54.1, Chapter 11, Code of Virginia is required. The Project or Work consists of the installation of an approximately 1,000 linear feet, 30-inch HDPE interceptor force main installed via horizontally directional drilling, 330 linear feet of 30-inch HDPE force main and 105 linear feet of 30-inch and 24-inch ductile iron pipe installed via open trench method. Additional work includes valves, air vents, line stops with bypass, abandonment of the existing sanitary force main and site restoration. A Bid Bond in the amount of 5 percent of the Bid shall be submitted electronically with each Bid.
