The Warren County Port Commission requests qualified organizations - namely private Engineering Firms and other qualified firms - to furnish professional engineering services for Design of Plans and Specifications that would be suitable for potential building contractors to develop and submit bids for construction, for a Permanent Industrial Road to be located at the CERES Industrial Park in Warren County, Mississippi. Sections to be included in a response to the RFQ: A. Statement of Qualifications- The firm must clearly identify the teams experience in offering the services and deliverables specified in this RFQ. The statement of qualifications should include a list of the agencies that have been served or are currently being served by the firm or qualified organization. Additionally, the firm must list similar port projects which the firm has had experience and the extent of the firms involvement in such project(s). Clearly define the qualifications, professional history, and expertise of the members of the firm and the team most like to work on the proposed project in Warren County. This includes identifying any subcontractors or joint ventures and the professional history and expertise of those entities also. A narrative style description must be included of how the consulting firm will work with the Warren County Port Commission to fulfill the project requirements.A clear timetable defining the time that the deliverable will take to be completed. Please list the name, phone number, and email address of at least three representatives/owners of projects with whom your firm has worked on similar projects.The commission, in its discretion, may also choose to interview one or more firms. Any contract negotiated will be on a fixed price basis following contract negotiations with the selected firm to determine compensation that is fair and reasonable based on a clear understanding of the project scope, complexity, professional nature, and the value of services to be rendered.The Warren County Port Commission reserves the right to reject any and all submittals. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
