The Roaring Fork Transportation Authority (RFTA) operates a regional transit system 22 hours a day, 365 days a year with locations from Rifle to Aspen. RFTA manages nine (9) facilities including the Rio Grande trail, 11 parking lots, and 21 major bus stations which require sweeping, striping, crack sealing, chip sealing, milling, pothole repairs and other services related to the repair and maintenance of asphalt surfaces. RFTA is seeking proposals form qualified Contractrors to provide asphalt related repair and maintenance services at the facilities operated by RFTA. Proposals will only be considered from contractors who meet the RFP's requirements, provide all the services requested either with their own crews and equipment or by adding subcontractors to their team, and who can demonstrate their expertise and experience and ability to provide these services. RFTA encourages firms with different services and equipment to combine these skills and assets to respond to this RFP, however RFTA stresses that the contract will be written with a single prime contractor that will be responsible for the execution of the contract and the direction and supervision of all subcontractors.
