Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Farmington, Minnesota. Working plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; playground / park / athletic field; and for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field.

As of Aug 14,2019 project will go for rebid due to not enough bidder bid on the project and it's over the budget. **As of August 08, 2019 the bid received was reject and the project is being rebid later this fall. Project includes but, is not limited to, construction surveying and staking, on site earth work, topsoil fill, granular sand, silt fence, erosion control log and blanket, HDPE drain tile, precast concrete, water service, gas fireplace, bituminous paving, class 5 paving, trail construction, concrete surfacing, concrete curb, trap rock gravel paving, concrete stairs, stone stairs, outcrop walls, galvanized handrails, parking lot striping, drinking fountains/yard hydrant, seat walls, fire pits, shade structures, boardwalks, concrete abutments, vault toilets, 2 camper cabins, 1 warming shelter building, deck, site preparation, landscaping, site electrical, irrigation, and site grading to ensure proper storm water runoff. Bids must be submitted only on the bid form supplied in this RFB document. No oral, telegraphic or telephonic bids or modifications will be considered. Submit with each bid a certified check or acceptable bidder's bond payable to Dakota County in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total base bid. The successful bidder is required to furnish satisfactory Labor and Material Payment Bond and Performance Bond equal to 100% of the total contract amount. Bids may not be withdrawn within one hundred and twenty (120) days after the opening bids. The Dakota County Board of Commissioners will consider award of the project on August 6, 2019 and reserves the right to accept any bid or to reject any or all bids, or parts of such bids, and waive informalities or irregularities in bidding.
