As of January 29 2020 there is an awarded bidder. This is a unit price contract and is identified as follows: The intent of this project is to restore the Majestic Hills subdivision storm water pond, pond outlet, and surrounding berm to the original elevations and conditions. The project includes removing (dredging) accumulated sediment from the pond bottom; repairing the scoured areas surrounding the pond outlet structure with clay fill and grouted riprap; removing vegetation (including trees and shrubs) from within the project area; disposing the dredged material on an adjacent site owned by the Village; and restoring all disturbed areas. The Contract letting shall be subject to the provisions of Sections 61.54, 66.0901, and 66.0903 of the Wisconsin Statutes. \ Bids shall be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond, certified check, or cashiers check made payable to the OWNER in an amount of five (5) percent of the Bidders maximum Bid price. If the successful bidder fails to execute the contract and furnish the required bonds within 15 days after the Award, the Bid Security shall be forfeited to OWNER as liquidated damages. \ Bids shall be submitted on the bid form provided and all blanks must be filled in for the bid to be accepted. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 45 days from the date of the bid opening. Failure to list SUBCONTRACTORS or suppliers may be cause for rejection of the Bid. The Bidder awarded a contract for the work shall be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond in the full amount of the contract price. \ The OWNER has the right to reject any and/or all bids received, to waive any minor defects or irregularities that may be found in the bids, and to accept the bid that is in the best interest of the OWNER, subject to the provisions of Sections 61.54 and 66.0901 of the Wisconsin Statutes. At that time, the bids will be opened, reviewed, and displayed (if accepted).
