Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Sturtevant, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

Construction of the ENTERPRISE WAY EXPANSION includes: saw cutting, removing curb and gutter, excavation, grading, base aggregate dense, sanitary sewer, water main, storm sewer, curb and gutter, asphaltic pavement, pavement marking, traffic control, and erosion control. Approximate quantities include: 7,600 cubic yards of excavation, 7,700 tons of base aggregate dense, 2,600 tons of asphaltic pavement, 2,900 linear feet of concrete curb and gutter, 160 linear feet of storm sewer, 12 catch basins, 100 linear feet of water main, 100 linear feet of sanitary sewer, and 5,500 linear feet of pavement marking. This is a unit price contract. The estimated quantities as indicated above and on the Bid Schedule are inserted only for the purpose of determining the low bidder. The Contract letting shall be subject to the provisions of Sections 61.54 and 66.0901 of the Wisconsin Statutes. All bidders must comply with the Qualification of Bidders as listed in the Instruction to Bidders Section 00100. \ Bids shall be submitted on the electronic Bid Form provided through portal. All blanks must be filled in for the bid to be accepted. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 45 days from the date of the bid opening. Failure to list subcontractors or suppliers may be cause for rejection of the Bid. Bids shall be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond, certified check, or cashier's check made payable to the Owner in an amount of five (5) percent of the Bidder's maximum Bid price. If the successful bidder fails to execute the contract and furnish the required bonds within 15 days after the Award, the Bid Security shall be forfeited to Owner as liquidated damages. The Owner has the right to reject any and/or all bids received, to waive any minor defects or irregularities that may be found in the bids, and to accept the bid that is in the best interest of the Owner, subject to the provisions of Sections 62.15 and 66.0901 of the Wisconsin Statutes. Bidder awarded a contract for the work shall be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond in the full amount of the contract price. Prime Contractor(s) shall furnish listing of all subcontractors and suppliers performing labor and supplying materials under the Contract that individually have a total value of $1,000 or more.
