LOCATION: Cities of Hampton, Newport News, Norfolk, Suffolk and County of York, Virginia) Procedures for submitting a Bid, claiming an error, withdrawing of Bids and other pertinent information are contained in the Instructions to Bidders. HRSD reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, waive any informalities, or negotiate with the low bidder as described in the Instructions to Bidders. Questions related to submitting a bid or using the online system should be directed to Rebecca Ashley, Contract Specialist, via email at rashley@hrsd.com CONTRACTOR registration in accordance with Title 2.2, Chapter 43 and Title 54.1, Chapter 11, Code of Virginia is required. The Project or Work consists of one (1) pipe rehabilitation, one (1) new manhole, and rehabilitation of thirty-four (34) manholes and four (4) siphon chambers owned by HRSD. Of these, two (2) manholes and two (2) siphon chambers are located in the City of Hampton; four (4) manholes, one (1) siphon chamber, and one (1) pipe rehabilitation are located in the City of Newport News; twenty-eight (28) manholes are located in the City of Norfolk; one (1) siphon chamber is located in the City of Suffolk; and one (1) manhole is located in the County of York. A Bid Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid shall be submitted electronically with each Bid.
