**As of January 5,2023, project was awarded to E Meier Contracting , awarded amount is $174,170.75.** The Scope of Work included installation of an asphalt trail varying in width from 5 ft. to 10 ft. along Wolfrum Road from Willow Lake Court to Grey Oaks. The scope shall include the trail, ADA ramps, grading, removal of existing items, storm sewer, and other incidential items and work described in the Project Manual or reasonably inferable therefrom to construct the referenced project. A bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount must accompany each bid, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The City of Weldon Spring anticipates issuing notice of award and notice to proceed in Fall of 2022 and anticipates a project start date, weather permitting, in Spring of 2023. Please note that Missouri's Prevailing Wage Law establishes a minimum wage rate for public works projects in Missouri valued over $75,000. If the project is over $75,000, the wage rates applicable to this project have been predetermined as required by law and are set forth in this specification.
