To be valid, each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, drawn from a chartered bank or a bid bond issued by an insurance company for an amount equal to 10% of the total amount of the bid, payable to the order of Ville de Rosemère. This security must be valid for a period of 90 days from the date of bid opening.
In addition, the tender must be accompanied by a letter of consent issued by an insurance company appearing on the AMFs list, guaranteeing the issuance, in favor of the City of Rosemère, of a performance bond and a bond of the obligations of the contractor for wages, materials and services if the tenderer becomes the successful tenderer. Each guarantee must correspond to 50% of the bid amount.
Eligibility
Only bids from contractors with an establishment in Québec or in a territory covered by an intergovernmental liberalization agreement applicable to the municipality will be considered for the purpose of awarding a contract.
Reserve
The City does not undertake to accept the lowest or any of the bids received, nor to incur any liability or any other costs to the bidder (s).
