A timeline for the award is not yet established.** Contractor shall provide all personnel, labor, facilities, materials, services, insurance, permits, and equipment in accordance with the requirements of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Labor and Workforce Development (DLWD), Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and other regulatory agencies having jurisdiction, to complete the removal and disposal of asbestos-containing materials that include, but are not limited to, the following: Asbestos-containing window glazing associated with the nine metal windows, seven approximately 2.5' x 3.5' and two approximately 30" x 22", and roofing tar. This specification requires the removal and disposal of all identified asbestos-containing materials from the Bellevue Maintenance Building located at 149 Bellevue Avenue in Adams, MA, that will be impacted by the renovation project. Removal of construction directly attached to, or covering ACM, such as roofing materials, mortar, etc., is required by this Section to the extent necessary to complete the removal work. Coordination between the Asbestos Contractor and General Contractor is required for all demolition and/or dismantling work required to complete the removal of asbestos. Bellevue Maintenance Building Project: Work to include envelope improvements such as masonry repair, roof replacement, new EIFS cladding system, window/door replacement & associated general work.
