Site work for a civil project in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
Generally, the work includes, but is not limited to the following: Site preparation and management, including pedestrian and vehicular traffic control measures and delineation of work zones. Saw cutting and removal of existing hard surfacing materials to be disposed of at the City yard. Removal and disposal of existing soft surfacing materials. Sanitary sewer installation, including utility mains and manholes. Storm sewer installation, including utility mains and manholes. Water main installation, including utility mains, valves, hydrants, and fittings. Grading of site with pipe swell and local material for construction of surface improvements. Fine grading and preparation of subgrade within the proposed Southview Way alignment. Placement of concrete works, including curbs and separate walks. Placement of roadway structure, including gravel base course and asphalt pavement. Adjustment of manholes and valves to match finished asphalt elevation. Placement of topsoil and sod or seed within boulevard areas. Rehabilitation of impacted landscaping features. Coordination of work with shallow utility companies and others as necessary.
