Site work for a water / sewer project in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Replacement of concrete structures, intercepting chambers, and valves at two locations: the Fort Saskatchewan River Crossing Siphon Chamber in Fort Lions Campground and the START/Outfall Intercepting Chamber near 9 St. NE and south of 195 Avenue NE. The project, referred to as the 2026 Wastewater Transmission Chamber Upgrades, is divided into two parts covering both locations. TIMELINE: Request for Proposals from engineering consultants is underway. Construction of the Fort Saskatchewan River Crossing Siphon Chamber is planned for 2027; and 3726.05 START/ Outfall Intercepting Chamber to proceed in 2028. Further update pending award of contract. *Budget is unreleased.
