Site work for a civil project in Reno, Nevada. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
**As of December 03, 2020, the construction is expected to begin next month and the Contractor has 580 calendar days to be substantially complete. This proposal to the Owner is irrevocable for a period of ninety (90) days after the date of the bid opening. The Project consists of installation of approximately 15.4 miles of 24-inch diameter ductile iron effluent water main. Effluent main originates at the Truckee Meadows Water Reclamation Facility and ends east at the Tahoe-Reno Industrial Center. Project components includes mass grading, 500,000-gallon tank, rock excavation, rock blasting, storm drain culverts, jack and bore, microtunneling, control vaults, electrical improvements, asphalt pavement, gravel restoration and hydroseeding. The Engineer's Opinion of Probable Construction Costs for this project is $35,000,000.00. Construction duration is 550 calendar days and is to commence in October 2019. The Public Works Project No. is LY-2019-259. Project shall comply with state prevailing wage requirements. All bidders must register as a plan holder in the Farr West Bid Room in order to receive addenda and updates for the project.
