Demolition, site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Boise, Idaho. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The Bidder, in compliance with your Invitation for Bids for the construction of NGBID-01-B-0001, Building 520 Sidewalk and Bridge Demolition. Bidder hereby agrees to commence Work under this Contract on a date to be specified in the written of the Owner and to substantially complete the Project within 60 consecutive calendar days thereafter, as stipulated in the specifications. Bidder further agrees to pay as liquidated damages, the sum of $225.00 for each consecutive calendar day after the established substantial completion date or adjusted date as established by change order. A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount, including any add alternates, is required. All work is to be accomplished within 60 calendar days from receipt of Notice to Proceed. Failure to perform the work within the established time period will be grounds for withholding an appropriate amount of compensation as damages for delay
