Site work for a road / highway in Pennsauken, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The work which is the subject of the contract consists primarily of the construction of a Mechanically Stabilized Earth (MSE) berm, extension of the landfill baseliner system on the inside face of the new MSE berm, and the construction of ancillary items. In accordance with applicable law including the Local Public Contracts Law, N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1 et. seq., the Authority reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to waive any informalities or irregularities in any bid, or to reject any or all bids should the Authority deem it to be in the public interest to do so. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq., N.J.A.C. 17:27 and pursuant to N.J.A.C. 10:5-33, bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975, c.127. The Authority welcomes and encourages minority and women-owned businesses to participate in the bidding process. Bids must be made on the Bid Forms in the manner designated therein, and must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder and the name of the project on the exterior, addressed to the Executive Director, Pollution Control Financing Authority of Camden County, 9600 River Road, Pennsauken, NJ 08110. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, Certified Check, or Cashier's Check paid to the order of the Pollution Control Financing Authority of Camden County for ten percent (10%) of the base bid, said 10% not to exceed $20,000.00. The signed Bid Forms and bid security must be delivered to the place named above on or before the scheduled bid opening. The successful bidder will execute the contract within ten (10) days after the Notice of Award or forfeit its bid security. Bid securities will be returned to all unsuccessful bidders after award and signing of the contract.
