Site work and paving for a road / highway in Terrebonne, Quebec. Working plans call for paving for a road / highway; and for site work for a road / highway.
Construction of a new interchange to connect highway 640 with avenue Urbanova. The new structure will be located roughly halfway between the interchange of Route 335 and that of Avenue Claude-Léveillé. The new interchange will serve as a gateway to the future Urbanova district planned south of Highway 640. The interchange provides four freeway entrance and exit ramps as well as an overpass with two lanes in each direction, a cycle path and a sidewalk. The connection of Boulevard des Entreprises Ouest is also planned as part of the project. TIMELINE: Working drawings are being finalized. Project is implemented in collaboration between the City of Terrebonne and the Quebec Ministry of Transport (QMT), the City being responsible for the preparation of the project design and the Ministry, for the construction work. Environmental authorization request has been made and the Ministry of the Environment, the Fight against Climate Change, Wildlife and Parks is analyzing the file. The preparatory work is underway or being carried out. Tender for the general contractor of the main construction package is anticipated in spring/early summer 2026.
