Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Hawthorne, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Bid proposals must be submitted on the forms supplied by the County. A bidder must submit one (1) original and two (2) copies of its bid. Bid Documents will not be mailed. However, if exigent circumstances exist, accommodations to overnight Bid Documents may be entertained at the bidder cost. All proposals must be submitted on the forms supplied, in paper format with all original signatures, along with two (2) paper copies plus one (1) on CD or USB Flash Drive. The work on the Project includes furnishing of all labor, materials, and equipment necessary or required to complete the tasks set forth in the Project specifications and as shown on the construction plans. The principal items of work to be constructed, along with approximate quantities, are as follows: a. Alternative Bid No. 1 Item Quantity Unit 2 Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) Surface Course at Path to Dog Park 650 SY c. Alternative Bid No. 2 Item Quantity Unit Benches 5 UNIT Picnic Tables 5 UNIT d. Alternative Bid No. 3 Item Quantity Unit Basketball Court Logo 1 LS The County is not responsible for bids delivered or otherwise not arriving on time. The County reserve the right under N.J.S.A. 40A:11-13.2 to reject bids for the reasons stated therein. Respondents are required to comply with N.J.S.A. 10:5-31, et seq., P.L. 1975, c. 127, N.J.A.C. 17:27-5.2, and all other applicable laws, regulations, or ordinances concerning affirmative action goals and equal employment opportunity. Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-24, the Passaic County Board of Chosen Freeholders reserve the right to consider the bid proposals for sixty (60) days after the receipt thereof. Moreover, the Board reserves the right to reject any and all proposals in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40A:11-13.2, and waive minor informalities not considered material defects under N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1, et seq.
