Site work, paving and new construction of a civil project in Columbus, Ohio. Completed plans call for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
As of June 10, 2025, a general contractor has been awarded. Construction is expected to start late July or Early August 2025. Construction anticipated to end in summer 2028. The project involves the construction of a new interchange facility at the intersection of U.S. Route 33 and Pickerington Road. The interchange project will involve the replacement of the at-grade intersections of Pickerington Road and U.S. 33 as well as Pickerington Road and the railroad crossing. The project will include the construction of public service roads to connect to residential areas near the U.S. 33 and Pickerington Road area. The at-grade intersections of Allen Road and U.S. 33 will be closed after completion of the interchange facility.
