Maricopa County Risk Management (MCRM) recently conducted a limited asbestos survey of building materials from four areas within the Maricopa County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) Administration Facility #1401 located at 2901 West Durango Street in Phoenix, Arizona. The updated survey was conducted on April 23, 2019 and was completed in response to planned renovation activities that would impact building materials located at the Cooling Tower, Chiller Mechanical Room and the two Rooftop HVAC Air Handler Rooms at the facility. The survey was conducted using information from previous asbestos building surveys conducted by Four Corners Environmental in July of 2010 and information provided by MCDOT representatives regarding the planned renovation activities.
