Orange County, North Carolina is releasing this Request for Qualifications (hereafter RFQ) seeking responses from qualified consultants to provide engineering services for proposed stormwater improvements including water mitigation at multiple Orange County facilities including the Board of Elections building located at 208 S. Cameron Street, the Richard E. Whitted Complex located at 300 W. Tryon Street, the Sheriff's Office facility located at 106 E. Margaret Lane, Department of Social Services building located at 113 Mayo Street, Orange County Public Transportation Building located at 600 Hwy 86 North, in Hillsborough, North Carolina and the Robert & Pearl Seymour Senior Center located at 2551 Homestead Road in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Orange County anticipates selecting a single firm for all facilities. The Project Budget (including all fees): Board of Elections: $375,000 Richard E. Whitted Complex: $575,000 Orange County Sheriff's Office: $103,000 Department of Social Services: $65,000 Orange County Public Transportation: $75,000 Orange County Motor Pool Campus: $50,000 (Only includes design and permits) Available materials (Attachments): 1. All email notifications, as well as any other correspondence sent to the County relating to this RFQ, must contain within the subject line of the email the words Stormwater Improvements at Multiple Orange County Facilities RFQ #5267. The purpose of this email notification requirement is to allow staff to send to all interested firms any modifications, updates, or answers to general project questions that would likely benefit all parties. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
