The owner states that they do not have construction funds available for the project at this time, but plan to complete the design by 2024. This project will widen and modify NW Sammamish Road from 193rd Place SE to the State Park Entrance.The City of Issaquah Department of Public Works is soliciting interest from firms with expertise in roadway design, specializing in pedestrian and bicycle mobility. This project agreement will be for approximately two years in duration. Consultants will be considered for the NW Sammamish Road Non-Motorized Improvement Project. The City will not pay for costs incurred by an applicant resulting from their preparation or submittal of a proposal in response to this RFP. The City reserves the right to modify or cancel in part, or in its entirety, this RFP. The City of Issaquah, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252,42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
