Renovation of a mixed-use development in Winter Springs, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Bid must be accompanied by bid deposit: A Bid Bond, Cashier's Check or Certified Check for five (5%) percent of the total amount bid. The successful bidder shall furnish a Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond issued by a surety company licensed to do Business in the State of Florida, for one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract price. Contractor's bidding this work shall have a valid Local Business Tax Receipt and be either a Florida certified General Contractor (CGC) or Certified Building Contractor (CBC), and licensed to do business in the State of Florida. A current copy of each license certification is to be submitted with the Bid. Certified General Contractors shall hold a current annual prequalification certificate issued by The School Board of Seminole County, Florida. The Board reserves the right to waive minor informalities in the bidding if said waiver is in the Board's best interest. Drawings and Project Manual will be available from Thomas Printworks, 100 Candace Drive, Suite 108, Maitland, FL 32751; phone 407/647-3034 for the cost of printing, including state sales tax per set. Bid documents are non-refundable. Failure to attend does not relieve the bidder from the responsibility to carry out the work in the manner discussed at the conference. This pre-bid conference does not relieve the bidders of the on-site inspection of the project requirements.
